About
I’ve spent my career trying to understand how things work, and what happens when they don’t.
My background is in performance engineering: the discipline of understanding systems under pressure, finding the constraints and making them more dependable. Over time, that work gave me a broader perspective on software: how architecture choices, delivery processes and the people operating a system shape what users actually experience.
That perspective increasingly pulled me toward product building. I wanted to go beyond assessing whether technology worked well and take responsibility for deciding what should exist, how it should work and whether it creates value.
Today, I’m a co-founder at YORO Health, working at the intersection of product, engineering, AI and home healthcare. It’s a domain where technology doesn’t get to remain an abstraction: there are real people, real care teams and consequences when workflows fail.
I’m still an engineer at heart. I care about clear requirements, thoughtful trade-offs, good user experiences and systems that remain reliable outside demos. This site is where I document the things I’m building and learning along the way.
I enjoy conversations with people who build.
If you’re working on an interesting problem in product, technology, AI or healthcare, or want to compare notes, I’d be glad to connect.
